Joe Plourde is the President of Plourde Solutions Group, LLC (PSG); headquartered in Anaheim, CA. Mr. Plourde founded PSG in 2005 to provide Client consulting services that would deliver innovative momentum to the continuous improvement process for business operations in the Southern California region.
Prior to PSG, Mr. Plourde was formerly the Vice President of Operations with Packaging Plus, LLC, (aka Berkley Industries, LLC), with its headquarters located in La Mirada, CA. Mr. Plourde fulfilled key executive responsibilities to include profit & loss accountability for a global operational revenue exceeding $100 million; and management leadership of a total staff of 600 employees.
Mr. Plourde also directly contributed innovative engineering concepts that elevated Berkley Industries to a premiere provider of manufacturing services; comprised of injection molding, thermoforming, contracting packaging and global distribution for many blue-chip firms to include Honeywell, AMD, Western Digital and Amway.
Mr. Plourde has excelled in key operations & engineering management positions during the last 25 years in a diverse range of industries; to include aerospace (TRW), machine tool OEM (Cincinnati-Milacron), computer peripheral OEM (CalComp), cryogenic/nuclear support components (ITI), plastics, contract packaging, and high-speed automation development.
Mr. Plourde has established recognition in the fields of engineering, quality assurance systems, and business management. Mr. Plourde has instituted a variety of leading-edge human resource programs and personnel development techniques that have been applauded and emulated by Fortune 500 companies. He has successfully incorporated technologies with human ergonomics to execute performance excellence in automated production for global leaders. Mr. Plourde studied aeronautical engineering at the University of Massachusetts/Amherst.
